Target Audience
The Annual Scientific Meeting is designed for physicians, psychologists, scientists, researchers, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other health professionals involved in the care of patients with head, neck, and orofacial pain.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the program, participants will report their intention to:
- Understand when there is and is not a need to develop new PROMs for headache clinical trails
- Recognize key qualitative components related to PROMs and how these patient insights can be used to inform measure creation, psychometric methods, and clinical care
- Know how to evaluate, interpret, and select PROMs for headache research and clinical care using psychometrics and statistics
- Identify benefits of PROMS for use in headache-related clinical trials and how these PROM benefits can be transferred to clinical care
