Target Audience

The Annual Scientific Meeting is designed for physicians, psychologists, scientists, researchers, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other health professionals involved in the care of patients with head, neck, and orofacial pain.

The program aims to help participants recognize the signs and impact of provider burnout in headache care; explore the advantages and challenges of shifting from academic medicine to non-insurance-based private practice; understand the benefits and opportunities that remain within academic settings; and become familiar with flexible work arrangements, including part-time and semi-retirement options, that support longevity and satisfaction in a career focused on headache medicine.
