PURPOSE

Following this session, learners will be better prepared to manage patients presenting with headache conditions by applying best practices in Headache Medicine:

  • Use established criteria to facilitate the diagnosis of patients with primary and secondary headache conditions
  • Choose therapies that have demonstrated efficacy and safety in randomized controlled trials and in clinical practice
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with regular follow-up consultations to monitor progress
