Target Audience
Since the inaugural meeting in 1970, the Scottsdale Headache Symposium® continues to be a successful venue for providing practical, clinical, evidence-based information on the diagnosis, management and treatment of headache patients.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the program, participants will report their intention to:
- Appraise the potential impact of ACEs on migraine.
- Conduct brief, clinic-friendly screening using validated tools (e.g., ACE-Q/PEARLS) with de-identified scoring and a single impact question, while minimizing retraumatization AND document ACE-related information using minimum-necessary, impact-focused language and apply ethical/legal principles (confidentiality, mandatory reporting, safety assessment) in the EHR.
